Who We Are
Established in 2005 by Heidi Barreau, plume design was created to encourage contemporary bespoke interiors that incorporated beautiful Australian design with tailor made finishes. Heidi began her passion for interiors while writing for Home Beautiful magazine - now she loves to ‘use’ & ‘create’ the interiors as well as collecting & reporting on the latest styles and interior trends. She has had homes, features & style advice appear in Home Beautiful, SA Life, Country Style, House & Garden & more.

we do modern, beautiful interiors – from small jobs to large scale jobs – residential to small commercial - selecting colour schemes - mixing up custom made furniture & sourced designer furniture - reupholstery - new furniture layouts - kitchen & bathroom selections and cabinetry drawings – renovation of existing or new homes starting from the building selections throughout, to installing & completing interior schemes – selection, make and installation of curtains and blinds – home styling for a photo shoot, or just layering your house in to a home – talk to us about what your needs are and how we can make your home beautiful.

we sell furniture, homewares & accessories – unique wall art, wallpapers, fabrics, lamps, cushions, tickly toe rugs, ready made furniture as well as custom made pieces such as bedheads, dining tables, upholstered chairs etc, outdoor fabrics & furniture - we can arrange upholstery & re-upholstery - if you can't find something our specialty is to source the right product for you.... we also sell gifts in store such as Savon de Marseilles hand soaps & lotions. Our specialty is custom made cushions and furnishings to give your home the most individual look, and for items previously unavailable in stores
